About the event
Join us to learn, practice, and collaborate—closing gaps and creating brain injury-informed communities.
Choose a morning or afternoon session for this interactive workshop that brings together frontline staff, community members, caregivers, and survivors to build practical skills and strengthen support within our community.
- Morning Session: 9 am – 12 pm
- Lunch: 12 pm – 1 pm
- Afternoon Session: 1 pm – 4 pm
Content will include an overview of brain injury, strategies for managing challenging behaviors, putting accommodation tip sheets into practice, and a discussion of community-based challenges and ongoing supports.
Additional Highlights:
- Certificates of Attendance and Iowa Board of Certification (IBC) CEUs will be made available.
- Limited seating to support meaningful engagement.
- Lunch will be provided.
